There 14th edition of the 2023 President’s Campaign of the Jean-Talon Hospital Foundation collects a amount of $500,000 which will be used, among other things, to purchase a breast biopsy device for the radiology department of Jean-Talon Hospital.

 

Under the honorary presidency of Mr. Serge Savard, former captain and general manager of the Montreal Canadiens and associated with the company MSA Messier Savard et Associés. He is also president of the Serge Savard Fund created to support student-athletes at the University of Sherbrooke.

 

 Since its creation in 1984, the Foundation has provided financial support for promising projects for the Jean-Talon Hospital (HJT), a community hospital located in the heart of the Villeray Petite-Patrie district.

This year, with the President's Campaign, the Foundation wishes to support a very important project for the prevention of breast cancer. Among its major projects, the purchase of a breast biopsy device under stereotaxic guidance which had become a priority for the radiology department of Jean-Talon Hospital which has always been pioneer in the early detection of breast cancer.
